Christine Lassiter

Christine Lassiter is the Vice President and Group Controller, Content and Promotions, for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.  In this position in Turner’s Accounting Center of Excellence, she is responsible for the accounting and reporting functions for Turner’s programming, newsgathering, and marketing for TBS, TNT, CNN, HLN, truTV, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, Boomerang, and Turner Classic Movies. 

Prior to this role, Christine served as the Controller of Turner’s Cartoon Network, which also includes Boomerang, Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, and Adult Swim’s William Street Studios in Atlanta.  Prior to her tenure at Cartoon Network, she was the Controller for the Film Management group, which is responsible for the licensed and original programming for Turner’s domestic entertainment and animation networks.

Prior to joining Turner, Christine was Comcast’s Director of Financial Controls and Regulatory Reporting for the southern division.  Prior to joining Comcast, she worked in New York and Atlanta for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Entertainment and Media audit practice for 9 ½ years. 

Christine holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama.  She is a mentor for the University of Alabama’s Women’s Initiative Program for the College of Commerce and Business Administration.  She is a member of Women in Cable Television and attended the Executive Development Seminar in September 2010.  Currently residing in Atlanta, she is an active CPA in the state of Georgia.
