As Communications Vice President, Claudia Loda is responsible for developing and managing all of the internal and external aspects of Communications for Viacom International Media Network Southern & Western Europe, Middle East and Africa cluster, which includes Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Middle East and the African continent.
With over 15 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Claudia leads a team that’s focused on increasing the profile of Viacom at an international level. Her duties include creating strategies to guide and elevate the company’s corporate profile and brand portfolio in the SWEMEA markets, maintaining high profile relationships with key media, conferences and partners, supporting all lines of business including ad sales, M&A, strategy, consumer products, digital and programme sales, as well as harnessing and driving communications that are key for raising VIMN’s profile in trade and business media for key stakeholders. Finally, she oversees the management of all internal and external employee engagement, pro-social and crisis communications for the cluster.
Prior to joining Viacom International Media Network, Claudia worked for Telecom Italia Media, an International ICT group based in Italy which also operates in Latin America and across several international regions, in the TV division. Prior to that, she worked for the international communications agency Weber Shandwick, managing a portfolio of local and International clients, and for one of the most important radio stations in Italy, RTL 102.5.
Claudia earned her Bachelor in Communications and Public Relations with an emphasis in Media from IULM University in Milan.
Claudia has a 2-years old baby and she is active in promoting women rights and issues related to premature birth through a variety of activities and initiatives related to kids and families with prematurity experiences.
