In her role at CSG Systems as the Vice President of a Strategic Business Unit Connie is the executive liaison between CSG and one of their largest clients, Charter Communications. Connie is responsible for managing all aspects of the business relationship between the two companies.
Connie’s current role as Vice President encompasses a variety of initiatives including identifying sales and new business development opportunities, acting as the client advocate, recognizing client needs and finding solutions to help her customer meet their business strategies and demands, as well as managing a team of thirteen individuals who also work to help achieve these goals. In managing the complete customer relationship she is responsible for maintaining and growing an account with over $50M in annual revenue.
Prior to joining CSG in 1999, Connie spent over a decade working in the consulting industry. She worked at Science Applications International Corporation gaining experience in the government and defense sector while gaining a different flavor of consulting at CapGemini Group working in the private sector. Her expertise in these positions focused on project management, data warehousing, data mapping, multimedia initiatives, software development and business and process optimization.
Connie lives in Omaha, Nebraska and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Connie is a member of the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Rocky Mountain and Midwest Chapters as well as Cable and Telecommunications for Marketing (CTAM). Within WICT she has participated in the Rocky Mountain Leadership Institute, the Women’s Vision Foundation coursework and was recently honored as one of the 2009 Women to Watch for the Rocky Mountain Chapter. Connie is on the board of directors for the Metropolitan Science and Engineering Fair and judges for local and regional science competitions. She is also a board member of The Digg Site Productions – a nonprofit organization targeting at risk high school students with interest in the film industry. Connie is also a founding advisory member of the Executive Women’s Forum – a networking and educational forum for women in the Omaha area.
