Courtney Brooke Peterson began her career with Comcast in May 2004, as a Dispatcher in Field Operations and was quickly promoted to Lead Dispatcher. From there, Courtney transferred to the regional office to take on an Internal Communications Coordinator position, which launched her career in communications. Today she’s been with the company 11 years, and has been promoted to positions of greater leadership responsibilities, presently in the role of Senior Manager of Communications with the National Customer Operations department.
In her current role, she manages a small team to deliver intranet content, as well as a daily operational newsletter that includes product and process changes that our frontline agents need to be aware of. She works cross-functionally with multiple departments within the corporate organization as well as with the division and regional counterparts developing communications content and strategies to ensure the message is delivered clearly, consistently and accurately.
Courtney graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, and recently obtained her Master of Arts in Business Communications with a focus in Project Management from Jones International University. She currently resides in Philadelphia and enjoys travelling and staying active.
