Courtney Carini serves as director of digital business development for Scripps Networks Interactive. In this role, she is responsible for identifying and executing digital business strategies, content partnerships and marketing efforts across the company’s Home Category-leading websites – HGTV.com, DIYNetwork.com, HGTVRemodels.com and FrontDoor.com – and mobile products.
Since joining Scripps Networks in 2005, Carini has spearheaded the growth of Scripps’ digital product offerings, broadband video and online syndication businesses. She has more than 10 years of experience in the television and entertainment industry, which also includes online marketing and programming positions at Time Warner Cable’s RoadRunner division.
Carini is an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and serves as a mentor to University of Tennessee students participating in the WICT/UT Mentoring Program. She also gives back to her local community as a committee member of Rebuilding Together Knoxville, the United Way and KnoxAchieves.
Carini holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and new media from the University of Georgia. She resides in Knoxville, Tenn. with her husband and daughter, and enjoys running, biking and hiking.
