Danielle Acampora is a Director of Accounting in the Controller’s Department at ESPN. She oversees ESPN’s financial reporting and consolidation function company wide, and supports various ESPN lines of business, including ESPN Radio, ESPN local.com websites, ESPN Regional Television, and ESPN’s soon to be launched Longhorn Network.
In these roles, she manages a staff of nine, who assist in the coordination, preparation, and consolidation of the ESPN financial statements and related disclosures on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Danielle works closely with the Walt Disney Company Controllership team and serves as a key point person to assist in Disney public filings related to ESPN.
During her tenure, Danielle has also performed due diligence work for strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
Danielle joined ESPN in 2001 as a Staff Accountant of Affiliate Revenue, in during her time with the company, she has also managed the accounting functions for ESPN.com., ESPN Magazine, Bass, and ABC sports lines of business. Prior to joining ESPN, she worked as an auditor for Kostin, Ruffkess, and Company.
Danielle graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She resides in Farmington, CT. Danielle loves spending time with her family and friends, hitting the links in the summer and slopes in the winter.
