Debra Goetz leads the NBCU Integrated Sales Marketing team focused on “Green is Universal,” NBCU’s ongoing environmental initiative, and “Healthy at NBCU,” the company’s health and wellness effort launched in June 2010. Utilizing consumer insights and innovative ideas, she and her team work with clients to develop marketing programs that connect consumers and brands aligned with the environment and consumer health. Goetz joined NBCU from Univision Communications where she was Vice President of Corporate Marketing since 2006. In that role she helped create the company’s first corporate marketing department and was a key part of developing and producing Univision’s first-ever “user generated” upfront, which was named the best ’07-’08 upfront by the Jack Meyers Report. Before that, Goetz served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing, where she partnered with the sales division to help drive incremental sales efforts. She joined Univision in 2004. Prior to Univision, Goetz ran her own marketing consulting business, where her clients included Univision, Deutsche Bank and various e-commerce clients. Before that, Goetz spent seven years at Young & Rubicam, where she first worked in corporate strategy and operations, then later in account management. Goetz began her career in sales and trading at Morgan Stanley. Goetz holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in New York and a B.S in Finance and Economics from Indiana University. She currently resides in New York City.
