As Manager of Global Development & Production for National Geographic Channel, Diana El-Osta is responsible for developing new projects, sourcing talent, and reviewing program proposals for commissions and co-productions for the U.S. and international channels. In this role, she has worked on several highly rated series and specials for NGC and Nat Geo WILD including Mystery Files, Russia’s Toughest Prisons, Inside 9/11: The War Continues, Secret Brazil, Ice Bears 3D, Nordic Wild, and Return of the Clouded Leopards.
Prior to this, Ms. El-Osta worked for National Geographic Channels International developing content for the networks outside of the U.S. including the main National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, and Nat Geo Adventure. While in this role, she worked with regional NGC initiatives throughout Asia and Latin America such as the MDA fund in Singapore, the GIO fund in Taiwan and the Ancine fund in Brazil. El-Osta joined National Geographic Channels International in 2006 working in the programming department as the liaison between the DC and regional channel offices.
El-Osta holds bachelors’ degrees in Foreign Affairs and Economics from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of George Washington University’s Documentary Institute. She is originally from Leesburg, Virginia.
