Diana Simms

Diana Simms is a Network Engineering Operations Supervisor at Comcast Business, with responsibility for leading a team of ten engineers who test and turn up the PRI (Primary Rate Interface) enterprise product: fiber, coax, and fiber over coax. She supports the Comcast network and application health as it pertains to the install of Comcast Business and up to 48 hours for equipment maintenance. Diana is fully engaged in the development and deployment of business strategy as it pertains to the service delivery of product.

From March 2007 to August 2012, Diana held the position of Technical Supervisor Tier 3 for Comcast Business, where she was instrumental in deploying Business Class Voice; from both a Service Delivery and Service Assurance product nationally. Diana began with four end to end support technicians in 2007 and by 2009 grew the organization to 64 supporting technicians.

Diana supported the Comcast Network Engineering Technical Operations team from 1999 through 2007. It is with NETO that Diana established affinity for network architecture and leadership.

Diana is a contributing donor to the United Way since 2001. She has been an active member with the Women In Cable Telecommunications since 2007. Diana enjoys making various individual contributions to the community, families, and individuals.

Diana attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks from 1994 to 1997 where she studied Psychology as a student-athlete. From 1992 to 1994, Diana attended Allan Hancock College where she received an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts.
