Eileen Hwang is a Senior Manager with the Strategic Development team at Comcast. She currently oversees all brand development, creative production, communications plans, and sponsorship activities for Watchable, a newly launched digital video service. She has been dedicated to Watchable for over 2 years and has helped support its first beta launch and subsequent product and new content releases. Prior to Watchable, Eileen was a marketing consultant for XFINITY Streampix, a subscription video on demand service offered exclusively by Comcast. She managed customer acquisition plans, consumer communications, and sales incentive programs for Streampix.
Before entering the world of cable and telecommunications, Eileen gained experience in both consumer and B2B industries. She started her career as a Marketing Associate for DuPont, responsible for two of DuPont’s consumer brands. In that role, she managed retail packaging, pricing, merchandising, and sales forecasting for two brands. She also obtained her Six Sigma Black Belt while at DuPont when she completed a large pricing project that delivered incremental top line revenue to her business unit. Eileen has also worked at SunGard Availability Services, where she focused on operations strategy and improving customer experience.
Eileen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and cycling. She resides in Philadelphia and takes full advantage of all that city life has to offer.
