Eliana Castro

As the Senior Manager for the Wireless Program Management Office, Ms. Castro is responsible for the Portfolio Management for all of Time Warner’s wireless initiatives.  This includes providing oversight to the successful delivery of all programs, leadership on program/project management methodologies; as well as guidance on prioritization and resource utilization across all impacted teams.

Prior to this role, Eliana spent more than 10 years in the engineering field specializing in wireless technologies, and more recently 4G technologies with Sprint /Nextel and Clearwire.  Since joining Time Warner Cable in 2009, her focus shifted from a technical role to more strategic role as she has been leading multiple project management organizations.

Ms. Castro has been an active member of WICT (Woman in Cable Telecommunications) since 2009; she participated in WICT’s Executive Development Program in 2010, and served as a mentor in the WICT Tech It Out Event also in 2010.   Ms. Castro is an avid cook, mother of a 4 month old girl and 13 year old boy, in addition to being guardian to her 19 year old sister.  She has been a resident of Northern Virginia since 1991, prior to that she was a citizen of Venezuela where she was born and raised.
