Elisabeth Garland is Portfolio Manager in Turner’s Media Software and Services group. In this role, she leads a team responsible for developing custom software solutions to support the traffic and invoicing needs for Turner. Her team works closely with stakeholders in Sales Operations, Master Control, Strategic Planning, Accounting and Finance, Ad Sales, and other technology teams to design best-in-class products to support new business initiatives and strategies for Turner.
Elisabeth has been with Turner for 16 years. She began her career at Turner as a Senior Financial Analyst, where she performed financial reporting and forecasting for Enterprise Applications, an internal software development department. When her role expanded to act as the key stakeholder for a team building a new custom solution for project management and reporting, she discovered she had a passion for software development and transitioned into a business analyst role in 2005, working on software solutions to support CNN’s Newsgathering team.
Throughout her career at Turner, Elisabeth has been fortunate to lead a number of high-profile projects across various business segments, allowing her to design and build custom solutions to support International Affiliate Sales, Programming, Promotions, and now Traffic and Invoicing.
Prior to joining Turner, Elisabeth worked as a CPA for Ernst & Young’s audit practice in Atlanta. She earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia.
She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and three children.
