Elizabeth Boylan

Elizabeth Adele Boylan is a Director of Sales Revenue Management & Customer Services at ESPN. She first became enamored with the media industry through her internships held at New York Magazine and Fox News Channel during her undergraduate studies at Fordham University. After graduating in 2010, she obtained a full time role RJ Palmer focusing on Television Buying across all Broadcast and Cable networks. In 2011, she joined ESPN as a TV Inventory Analyst where she oversaw major properties such as College Football, Former BCS, NASCAR as well as owned and operated properties such as the ESPY’s and ESPN Films. During her time as a Sales Planner, she maintained a list of agencies including OMD, Mediavest, Universal McCann, Havas, Mullen & Hill Holiday. Having a passion for the strategic aspect of sales, Elizabeth was promoted into management in 2013 as a Manager of Asset Management and later promoted to Associate Director in 2014, where she oversaw a team of Business Analysts and Inventory Analysts and their deliverables as it relates to portfolio management, inventory and sponsorship pricing. From both a macro and micro level, she worked with a variety of stakeholders across the company including Sales Management, Programming & Acquisitions, Finance, and Sports Management as it related to maintaining the current and future portfolio of ESPN media assets from a sales and marketing perspective. In 2015, Elizabeth transitioned into her current role as Director of Sales Revenue Management & Client Services where she is responsible for Linear and Video pricing and planning.   

 

Ms. Boylan grew up in the small town of Pine Bush, NY nestled in the Hudson Valley Region. She has a passion mentoring and developing future leaders. Over the past three years she has maintained a committee position with an internal ESPN mentoring program and also is a regular panelist at Columbia University and Fordham University within their Marketing departments. In her personal life, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, singing and most recently completed the TCS New York City Marathon.  This is her first year as a member of WICT.
