Eloise Schmitz is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Charter Communications, Inc. Ms. Schmitz manages Charter’s mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and capital structure activities, as well as the Company’s financial functions, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury.
Ms. Schmitz joined Charter in July 1998 as Vice President, Finance and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Charter, Ms. Schmitz was Vice President, Group Manager, of the Franchise and Communications Group for Mercantile Bank, now US Bank, in St. Louis. There, she was responsible for initiating, structuring, and arranging leverage-acquisition debt facilities for companies in the telecommunications and media industries. Before that, she served as a corporate banker at First Union for five years.
Ms. Schmitz holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Tulane University.
