Erin Bryant is the Manager, Content Delivery for Scripps Networks Interactive. In this role, she oversees content, functionality and usability of both the company’s corporate website and the newly launched intranet. Working closely with partners in Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Production and IT, she commissions and curates fresh and relevant content targeted to specific audiences. Erin also oversees the promotion and governance for the social applications that are part of Scripps’ intranet, which is a fairly new element within the enterprise. Erin has a team reporting to her, specializing in user experience and SharePoint development and site maintenance.
Erin’s background is in video production. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcasting, she moved to New York City. The start of her career included work with MTV, Fox Sports and NBC Sports. After working at a Post Production house, she worked in Creative Services at CBS News and then Food Network. Erin’s time at Food Network ultimately led her back to Knoxville, where she worked at Scripps Productions overseeing teams of coordinators and producers, project management, series for both HGTV and DIY Network, Branded Entertainment and web-exclusive programming.
Erin is in her 13th year with Scripps Networks. If you ask her where she’s from, she will claim Boston and Memphis as her home. She is an accomplished runner, currently training for her 10th half marathon and her fifth and sixth full marathons later this year. She is a die-hard Red Sox fan married to a die-hard Yankees fan; she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their very spoiled Golden Retriever.
