Erin Hartigan is the site manager for FoodNetwork.com, a Scripps Networks Interactive digital property, where she oversees the site’s new dining strategy, including editorial coverage, national restaurant listings, video content and a mobile application, On the Road, which has over a million downloads.
Hartigan was previously site manager for CookingChannelTV.com, handling all original web content, culinary packages, social media, videos and audience development. Before joining Scripps Networks, Hartigan worked as an editor specializing in food for digital media properties including Tasting Table, DailyCandy and WashingtonPost.com. She has appeared on numerous TV outlets, including NBC, CBS and ABC, and written for dozens of publications, including USA Today, Harper’s Bazaar and Conde Nast Traveler.
Hartigan graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in English. A California native, she now lives in Brooklyn, where she enjoys cooking searingly spicy food, exploring new neighborhoods by bicycle, cheering on her hometown Dodgers and planning far-flung vacations around a single meal.
