Fabienne was named 2016 Working Mother of the Year by Working Mother magazine and also named 2016 Next Generation Leader by National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).
Fabienne Clermont leads domestic/US legal support on employment law in Discovery Communications’ U.S. headquarters in Silver Spring, MD serving as a legal counselor and business partner for human resources and company executives, and advising and collaborating on a broad range of human resources-related issues and initiatives. Fabienne also provides guidance on compliance with corporate policies, ensuring that employees adhere to company policies, process and procedures when performing tasks. Over the past several years, Fabienne has taken leadership of Discovery’s global Code of Ethics training program. Fabienne is directly involved in communicating Discovery’s expectations and values to employees around the world, including implementation of our compliance programs throughout the world. Fabienne is also member of and legal counsel to Discovery’s global Compliance and Ethics Committee. Fabienne regularly volunteers to contribute to initiatives across the company. In 2016, Fabienne has taken on leadership of the Discovery Women’s Network, and employee resource group that supports development and networking for women across Discovery.
