Faye Rodman Barbour

​Faye Rodman Barbour joined the Turner Legal Department in May 2007 in the Labor and
Employment Group. After serving as Counsel and Senior Counsel, she was promoted to Assistant
General Counsel in February 2018. In her role, Faye advises human resources, management,
and other business partners on a wide range of employment law matters. She prepares and
negotiates a variety of agreements for her clients and handles occupational safety and health
matters for the company. Faye’s client groups include Turner Broadcasting Sales, the HLN, CNN
International, and CNN en Español networks, and several departments within CNN Worldwide.
She is also the attorney responsible for all on-air talent agreements across the CNN networks. 

Prior to Turner, Faye worked for a large regional law firm in Houston, Texas and a
national labor and employment firm in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Faye, a native North Carolinian, is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Duke
University School of Law. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Georgia
Association of Black Women Attorneys, where she previously served as Co-Chair of the In-House
Counsel Section, the National Employment Law Council, and is a former Attorney Coach and
judging panel member for the State Bar of Georgia’s High School Mock Trial Program. She
currently serves as a mentor with the State Bar of Georgia Labor and Employment Committee’s
Mentorship Academy. At Turner, Faye is a member of the Legal Department’s Interact and
Diversity Committees, and Black Professionals at Turner. She and her husband Chris are the
proud parents of Solomon, 8 and Nadia, 6.
