Heather Allison is a Publicist for CMT in Nashville, TN. Her primary responsibility is to create and execute successful publicity plans for CMT series, talent, specials and other network initiatives while establishing high-profile media partnerships to help sustain campaigns.
In her current role Heather manages publicity for CMT’s highest-rated series "Party Down South," in addition to other series and specials including "My Big Redneck Family," "Swamp Pawn,"" Instant Jam," "CMT Hot 20 Countdown" and more. She is responsible for writing, editing and disseminating all press materials for assigned shows, in addition to arranging interviews with print, broadcast and digital media. She also aids in planning publicity efforts for all tentpole events including the annual "CMT Music Awards," "CMT Artists of the Year" and most recently "CMT’s Ultimate Kickoff Party."
Heather joined CMT in 2009 as a corporate communications intern after receiving her bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in sociology from Penn State University. She’s a member of WICT and the Country Music Hall of Fame Troubadour Society, and she volunteers weekly at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. In her free time she enjoys traveling, running and eating desserts.
