Heather Halpin is a Director of Finance for Time Warner Cable Media. In her current role, Heather is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis for two-thirds of the country. She leads a team of four in the annual budget process and monthly P&L analysis, as well as overseeing commissions and managing headcount. Heather and her team support the Media Sales organization across multiple functional areas to provide them with the tools to move the business forward. Heather joined TWCM four years ago as a Senior Financial Analyst, after a five year hiatus from her career, to stay home and raise her family.
Prior to starting her family, Heather spent ten years living in New York City, working for various media/entertainment companies. She worked briefly in advertising, followed by a stint at the National Hockey League as a financial analyst in the licensing division. Heather left the NHL for an opportunity at MTV Networks, where she developed a love for budgeting and forecasting. She spent five years learning the business under great mentors. After spending one too many winters in NYC, Heather and her husband decided to move to Charlotte, NC for some warmer weather.
Heather is a graduate of Siena College and has a degree in Marketing/Finance. She has been married for over ten years and has two children – Abby, age 9 and Luke, age 5.
