Heather McKinney is Senior Director of Research for WarnerMedia Entertainment, currently leading the Strategic Research team for TBS, TNT, Tru and HBO Max. Heather focuses on developing and synthesizing core market trends and consumer insights to help inform operating initiatives and decisions. Her team’s forward-thinking landscape analyses help drive near-term and long-range business strategies.
Heather joined WarnerMedia/Turner in 2007 and has spent most of her career in various research roles including programming research, marketing research, digital analytics, brand research and now strategic research where she can flex all those muscles in one role.
Heather earned her ABJ in Telecommunication Arts from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing her MBA degree from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs)! She resides in Marietta, GA with her husband, two young sons (ages 4 and 1), and dog.
