Hee Chung Hwang is the Director of Sales Operations at NCC Media in New York, NY. Hwang directs teams that work directly with the Sales department on all transactional business and service advertising agency customers and NCC affiliate clients.
Hwang joined NCC in 2006 as eBusiness Affiliate Analyst quickly rising to the position of eBusiness Affiliate Manager. In this role, she defined and managed critical project enhancements to Affiliate eBusiness tools. Following her key involvement in the successful launching of major enhancements to NCC’s eBusiness Affiliate tools and new processes, Hwang was given the assignment to work on building a centrally-managed, regionally deployed Sales Operations function enabling the Sales department to focus on growing revenue.
As Director, Hwang leads a team of varied levels of support ranging from Managers to Sales Coordinators. She collaborates with teams on strategic projects that strive to improve system efficiency and customer interface. Hwang is passionate about growing individuals professionally; she has advocated and executed continuous learning on career development and advancement in order to improve staff retention.
Prior to joining NCC, Hwang worked as the Education Director for a supplemental education center. She graduated cum laude from The George Washington University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
