Irene Esteves is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Time Warner Cable. In this role, Ms. Esteves oversees all of the company’s finance functions, including investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, tax, accounting and financial planning and analysis. Based in the company’s New York City headquarters, she is a member of the senior management team and reports to Glenn Britt, Chairman and CEO.
During her career, Ms. Esteves has held executive positions in strategy, finance, human resources and business development at several leading U.S. and global companies. She joined Time Warner Cable from XL Group plc, a global insurance and reinsurance company, where she served as Executive Vice President and CFO. Prior to that, she was Senior Executive Vice President and CFO of Regions Financial Corporation in Birmingham. Ms. Esteves previously held executive roles at the Wachovia Corporation in Charlotte, Putnam Investments in Boston and Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee and started her career at S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. (SC Johnson Wax) in Racine, Wisconsin. She previously served on the boards of The Timberland Company, Diversey Inc., and Mrs. Baird’s Bakeries Inc.
Ms. Esteves received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, School of Business, and an MBA with highest honors from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
