Irene Stout is a Sr. Manager for the Technology Business Operations Program Management Office of Time Warner Cable. In her current role, Irene leads a Project Management team that is responsible for delivering reliable and stable systems and provisioning initiatives that support the company’s top programs. Irene oversees management of tactical execution, resolves escalated issues, aids in prioritizing requests and develops program management process to ensure the organization is following a course of action that is successful and repeatable. In addition, Irene also has responsibility for developing, maintaining and communicating the plan of record for product, features and infrastructure for various business units.
Irene joined Time Warner Cable in 2002 as a Project Manager supporting both residential and commercial initiatives. Irene was promoted to a Senior Project Manager in 2004, then to a Manager in 2007, before being promoted to a Senior Manager in 2009. Before Time Warner Cable, Irene worked in project management at both Sprint and MCI/WorldCom.
Irene received a Bachlor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Radford University and a Masters degree in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University. Irene obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2001 and is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Irene is also a member of the Washington DC chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and is currently serving on the events committee for the Time Warner Cable Woman’s Collective. Irene resides in Ashburn, VA with her husband and twin 6 year old daughters.
