Prior to her work with A+E, Irene earned a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree, as well as, a Master’s in Teaching from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.  She landed her first job as a News Assistant at Fox 5 WNYW in the Big Apple.  After news, she took a unique job working as a Media Director for Iona College assisting Video, Radio, and Studio production classes.

On a personal level, being the youngest of five children, Irene is extremely well grounded and strives to live life to the fullest with her family and friends.  She makes every day count and loves to laugh, dance, workout, and go wine tasting!  In her free time, she finds tremendous joy spending quality time with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Stella.
