Izabella Wiley oversees A+E Networks’ operations in 17 countries of Central and Eastern Europe including Poland, Romania and Hungary. Her role involves driving new business, building multi-platform partnerships, forming programme and communications strategies for A+E Networks portfolio of brands including HISTORY, Crime+Investigation, H2 and Lifetime. From incorporation of the company, through building a team to creating the channels, which resonate with local audiences, Izabella was key force behind growing A+E presence in Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw office has grown to be a regional hub for the CEE region.
Before joining A+E Networks, Wiley worked at Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) where she was responsible for launching several channels as SVP and GM in Poland, Ukraine and Baltics. During her thirteen-year tenure at VIMN, she brought brands like Comedy Central and Nickelodeon to the region, oversaw the launch of MTV Live HD in 30+ international markets, and eventually managed 10+ channel portfolio.
In her over 20 years in television, Wiley prioritized and focused on championing women in media through personal mentorship, events and working in advocacy and women advancement organizations. She is the creator and host of the Women of Media Breakfast at PIKE, the biggest annual Polish cable media conference. The event was designed with the idea of giving female professionals a forum to network, exchange knowledge and reflect on the experience of working in the media industry. As Vice President of LiderShe, a Polish organization helping women across all industries, Izabella is actively involved in helping women outside of media sector advance in their careers by facilitating their exchange of knowledge and experience.
Wiley studied Journalism and Political Sciences at Warsaw University and MBA at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
