As vice president of corporate communications for AMC Networks Inc., Jaime M. Saberito oversees strategic trade and business communications for both IFC and WE tv. In this role, she is responsible for developing press strategies, messaging and outreach plans that communicate each network’s brand position, original programming offerings and overall business strategy. She is credited with spearheading IFC’s communications strategy surrounding the network’s business model transition from a sponsored channel to a fully ad-supported network with public ratings
Saberito re-joined AMC Networks in 2009 as director of corporate communications. Prior to that she was the senior director of corporate communications for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, where she developed and secured brand and original programming stories and oversaw all NY-based publicity efforts and talent management. She began her career at AMC as a publicist.
Saberito received a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from Long Island University. She is an active member of the cable and PR industries, currently serving as the board president of WICT NY and the chapter chair of EPPS NY. She is also a member of CTAM, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Association of Cable Communicators.
