James Cardillo, CPA

​James Cardillo is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). He is responsible for managing the finance and technology functions at WICT. He has a wealth of experience working with both nonprofit and for-profit entities, having spent the last 20 years in financial leadership roles at organizations with annual budgets ranging from $22 million to $350 million.

Jim began his career with Price Waterhouse as a staff and senior accountant, and after positions at Micros Systems, Maxim Healthcare, and St. Mary’s Parish & Schools, he most recently served as CFO for the Republican National Committee in Washington, DC. Jim is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs and Maryland Association of CPAs.

Jim’s accomplishments include developing new budgeting processes, linking outside systems to financial systems, improving financial and accounting processes through technology implementations, managing treasury and credit functions, implementing business intelligence dashboards, leading business acquisitions, organizational restructuring and division formations, developing board and senior management presentations, and mentoring staff to progress in their careers.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Jim considers the DC area his adopted home. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is an avid baseball fan and enjoys cooking in his spare time, which "doesn’t come as frequently as I would wish." Jim and his wife Chyrell reside in Maryland with their busy household of six children.
