Jane Bowman is the Senior Director of Marketing and Research for Comcast Spotlight. There she focuses on planning and development of strategic marketing initiatives to support the advertising sales business for the Northeast Division. She was also a key member of the team who signed the first Nielsen Local People Meter agreement, changing the way local television viewership is measured. Bowman moved to the Boston market in 1993 where she played an integral role in the launch of The Boston Interconnect, then called Greater Boston Cable Advertising. Today, the Boston Interconnect, now part of Comcast Spotlight, is one of the country’s most successful interconnects. Over the past fifteen years, she has held positions in marketing, research, and operations all within the cable industry. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA and holds a Masters Degree in Management from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA. Bowman serves on the Board of Directors of the Boston Advertising Club,and is the Chairperson of the Women’s Executive Forum for that organization. She is also an Executive Board Member at Large of the New England Chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications.
