Jane Lauterback

Jane Lauterback is a Leadership Coach and an Executive Business Development Officer at The Purposeworks with more than 20 years working with Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, foundations, non-profits and schools to integrate people, strategy and culture for increased organizational effectiveness, innovation and social impact.

 

She combines interlocking skillsets in coaching and facilitation, talent development and strategy development to empower dynamic leadership; guiding individuals, teams and organizations to define their purpose and put it to work. This approach enables leaders to unleash their potential, build a roadmap, and take constructive actions to achieve personal fulfillment and professional growth such as: stronger and more fluid team building; more effective management; improved work/life balance; expanded strategic and leadership skills; and greater ease and focus in responding to change.

 

Jane’s work includes leading collaboration among diverse functions and across multiple geographies (US, Europe, China, India, Japan, and S. Africa). Her global enterprise experience (including an ex-pat assignment in Tokyo) stretches across NGOs, technology, financial services, impact investing, management consulting, media and entertainment, and CPG sectors.

 

Clients have included The MacArthur Foundation, The Chicago Community Trust, AIG, Campbell Soup, Duff & Phelps, Trickle Up, Voqal, DuPont, GE, J&J, JPMorgan Chase, IBM, Impact Assets, L’Oreal, Lucent, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Schwab Institutional Services, Texas Instruments and Xerox. Previously Jane sat in marketing leadership roles in corporations and in marketing communications agencies such as Doremus, Nortel Networks, McCann-Erickson Japan and Xerox Corporation.

 

Jane is currently completing a book, A Pulse on Leadership Today, based on a research study among +30 CEOs and other C-suite executives as well as hundreds of executives facing transitions on leading through purpose.

 

As an Internationally Certified Coach, she is a mentor for NYU’s Stern School and its Berkley Innovation Labs Championship, America Needs You as well as an Executive Coach for the UN/UNICEF. She’s also a co-founder and Director of the Brothers Fund, a micro-lender for veteran entrepreneurs. Jane has been accepted into

to Columbia University Teacher’s College, Adult Learning and Leadership graduation program, fall 2017 and recent educational certifications include:
