Janice Gatti

Janice Gatti is the Vice President, Communications for ViacomCBS Networks International. In this role, she leads communications for Youth & Entertainment brands including MTV, Comedy Central and Paramount Network across 180 countries outside the U.S.  Since joining the division in November 2014, she has overseen internal and external corporate communications, publicity strategy and executive communications for the suite of international brands, and developed and launched impactful initiatives including the global MTV EMA Generation Change Award, which elevates and empowers fearless young people changing the world.  Janice also plays a key role creating ViacomCBS’ global culture initiatives including Spark, Viacom’s next generation town hall to equip, engage and inspire employees worldwide, and employee engagement initiatives to elevate voices on important topics like representation in media and content innovation.

Prior to this, she served as the Vice President, Communications for Viacom domestic brands MTV, MTV2 and mtvU where she helped shape the brand narrative and secured brand-defining media coverage, while also driving visibility for MTV’s Award-winning social impact campaigns including the “A Thin Line” campaign to combat digital abuse and the “Choose or Lose” youth voter campaign.  Janice joined Viacom in 2008 from Peppercomm, a strategic communications agency.

Janice is a graduate of Florida State University, with a B.S. degree in Mass Media Communications.  She recently completed an executive education course, Leading Organizational Change, at University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, Aresty Institute of Executive Education.  She currently resides in Hoboken, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
