Janiece St. Cyr is Vice-President of Human Resources for Cable ONE, Inc. In this position, she is responsible for the Payroll/Benefits Department and the HR Department. Janiece is also accountable for creating and implementing company policies that promote Cable ONE’s culture. Janiece has been a member of Cable ONE’s executive team for 10 years. A true trailblazer, she is the second female executive in the history of the company; and at one time, the only female member serving the team. A strong advocate for women, Janiece enjoys mentoring and helping other women grow into leadership positions at Cable ONE.
A native of Los Angeles CA, Janiece moved to Phoenix AZ 23 years ago for the opportunity to join the cable television industry and Cable ONE. Janiece has a BS in Management at Western International University. While maintaining the many responsibilities of her position, Janiece completed her MA in Human Resources at Ottawa University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA), and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). She is also a Certified Achieve Global Trainer.
Janiece works closely with all Cable One associates (from new hires to upper level management) to open up the lines of communication by utilizing the Basic Principles and always keeping in mind the Company Culture. She is responsible for Leadership & Management Training and Building Leadership & Supervisory Skills Training. In her position, Janiece juggles multiple projects on a daily basis and is the lead contact for associate crisis situations. Janiece enjoys coaching. She finds coaching most rewarding when associates have the confidence to address issues on their own and they are personally satisfied about obtaining the best outcome. Janiece believes real success is when you help someone else succeed.
Prior to joining Cable One, Janiece worked in CA for Trico Industries (the oil business). While obtaining a degree in Accounting by attending night school, she was promoted into numerous positions including: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Supervisor and Fixed Assets Accountant.
