Jayne Koo

Jayne Koo serves as Director, Client Relations & Marketing Operations, Content Distribution. In this role, Koo works closely with NBCUniversal’s distribution partners to identify and execute strategic partnerships and VIP events connecting clients with NBCUniversal’s portfolio of top-rated cable networks, including Bravo, CNBC, E!, Esquire Network, Golf Channel, Sprout, Syfy, MSNBC, Oxygen and USA Network, as well as the Olympics on cable. She reports to Lauren Monks, Vice President, MVPD Strategy & Client Relations, Content Distribution, NBCUniversal.

 

Most recently, Koo proved essential in the strategic planning and development of custom programs with MVPD partners around NBCUniversal events, including Super Bowl, French Open, Olympics and NASCAR. In addition, Koo has played an integral part in NBCUniversal’s participation with a number of industry events, including INTX: The Internet & Television Expo, DISH Team Summit, and The Independent Show, resulting in increased engagement from NBCUniversal’s distribution partners and high-profile clientele while highlighting the value of NBCUniversal’s multi-billion dollar content portfolio. Koo also plays a pivotal role in distribution partnerships involving USA Network’s award-winning Characters Unite pro-social program.

 

Previously, Koo served as Manager, Key Account Marketing at Showtime Networks Inc. where she developed and executed strategic partnerships and incentive programs, including campaigns around the Showtime Free Preview, Showtime On Demand and Showtime Anytime.

 

Koo is an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), where she served as a board member of the New York chapter for five consecutive years. She also served as Treasurer of the chapter in 2013 and 2014. 

 

Koo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Government and Politics at University of Maryland, College Park, where she also minored in Psychology. She resides in New York City with her husband Mark.
