Jean-Claire Fitschen

Jean-Claire Fitschen is Executive Director, Multicultural Xfinity Services at Comcast NBCUniversal, responsible for ensuring Comcast products and services are enjoyed by the widest audience possible. She is an experienced product development leader responsible for end-to-end audience strategy inclusive of customer experience, programming, marketing, sales, operations and compliance.


Jean-Claire was integral to a series of Comcast "firsts," including the launch of LGBTQ Film & TV on Xfinity. This received the 2017 Cablefax Digital Award for Editorial Excellence, and was a 2018 National Business Inclusion Consortium Initiative of the Year top five finalist. She led the roll-outs of Comcast’s first bicultural Hispanic experience enabling immersive Spanish language and voice offering on X1, as well as the organization’s first customer-facing accessibility solutions like the Center of Excellence for people with disabilities.


Prior to joining Comcast, Jean-Claire worked in the telecommunications, electronics, gaming and edutainment industries, and developed award-winning product lines for VTech and Earobics GameGoo (now owned by Houghton-Mifflin).


Jean-Claire served on the inaugural Comcast employee resource group OUT@Comcast leadership team, in the role of ally co-chair as part of the organizations’ distinguished diversity and inclusion initiatives. She is a S.T.E.M. diversity advocate, F.I.R.S.T. robotics team mentor and volunteers for a number of local Philadelphia community organizations. Jean-Claire holds degrees from DePaul University and Northwestern University.
