Jennifer Gruber

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University she began working with Caterpillar, Inc. as a diesel fuel-injection systems design engineer.  While working with Caterpillar she gained an interest in intellectual property law.  Three years after graduating from Purdue she enrolled in Franklin Pierce Law Center in New Hampshire, where she focused on intellectual property law courses and earned her J.D.  Jennifer is licensed by both the Georgia State Bar and the Patent Bar of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  After nine years at the intellectual property boutique firm of Thomas, Kayden, Horstemeyer and Risley, LLP – two of those years serving as the first, and at the time only, female partner – she joined the Legal Department of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

Now in her tenth year at Turner Broadcasting she is Senior Counsel heading up the Intellectual Property team.   While at Turner she created and implemented Turner Broadcasting’s corporate font licensing and management policy and is currently developing the corporate policy and strategy for Turner’s patent portfolio.

Jennifer currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two young children and serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of the PTA.
