Jennifer Holt

While attending Illinois Wesleyan University in the 1990s Jennifer was accepted as an intern in the local origination department at what’s now Comcast Cable.  At the conclusion of the internship she was hired and officially began her career in the cable industry. Sixteen years later she still enjoys working in a field that allows people to escape the pressures of day-to-day life by watching a program on their television. Along the way, she held multiple positions at Comcast and Tribune Media Services and completed her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University.

Currently, she is the Director of Field Sales and Marketing at Tribune Media Services in Chicago, IL. In this position she manages all aspects of magazine sales for Channel Guide Magazine through cable call centers. This includes developing and following a marketing budget along with creating and overseeing efforts to meet circulation revenue goals, minimizing expense spending and meeting profit objectives. She manages a team of three Account Managers who implement incentives and conduct trainings in call centers across the nation for a variety of MSOs.

Since 2005, Jennifer has served on the Greater Chicago Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications Board. When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys watching reality programming, traveling, geocaching and spending time with her friends and family.
