Jennifer Laumeister is a telecommunications professional with Comcast, a leading cable TV and internet service provider. She manages a team of UI engineers that are responsible for testing and launching new experiences on the Xfinty.com website. She has recently expanded her purview to include starting up a QA team to employ quality control measures and perform daily site auditing. She has been with Comcast for 14 years with previous roles in Indirect Channel Finance and Billing Operations, Web Content Management and Project Management.
Before joining Comcast, Jennifer worked as a researcher for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Temple University, contributing to the Biographical Dictionary of Early Pennsylvania Legislators. Prior to that, she was an office manager working for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jennifer graduated from Temple University with honors and a dual degree majoring in History and a minor in American Studies. She recently put her history degree to use by working on a documentary about the neighborhood where she grew up in Northeast Philadelphia called The King’s Highway. In her down time, Jennifer is an avid non-fiction reader, music enthusiast and self-proclaimed classic cinema expert, who enjoys attending the theatre and concerts. She is also the proud pet parent of two dogs, Bernie and Clarke.
