Jill Bondurant is the Senior Manager of Digital Distribution Marketing at Discovery Communications. She is responsible for implementing strategic promotional opportunities across multiple platforms including video on demand (VOD), TV Everywhere (TVE), electronic sell-through (EST) and subscription video on demand (SVOD). She works closely with content distributors as well as Discovery’s portfolio of networks, driving incremental exposure for their brands and shows.
A 10-year veteran at Discovery, Jill has worked in multiple departments. She started as a publicist for Discovery Channel, managing public relations efforts for programs including Dirty Jobs and Man vs. Wild. She then joined the distribution team as a marketing manager, focused on VOD and digital content marketing and collaborating with Discovery’s networks to promote shows through affiliate partnerships. She also served as an account manager in Discovery Education, leading the development and execution of partner-sponsored programs that provide free digital resources to teachers, students and parents.
Prior to joining Discovery, Jill worked at Feld Entertainment in both marketing and public relations positions, coordinating more than 100 events and securing national press coverage for Disney On Ice.
Jill graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with a major in broadcast journalism. She resides in Columbia, Md., and has two children.
