Jill Novatt is the Director of Culinary Production at Food Network. In her role, she oversees culinary production for many of the network’s most successful shows, including FN Star, Iron Chef America, Worst Cooks, Next Iron Chef, and many more. She leads a team of 5 culinary producers who travel the world turning food stories into compelling television. She has been nominated for an Emmy award and recognized by the Academy several times for her contributions to Food Network programming. She works closely with talent, and edited her first cookbook “Food Network Favorites: Recipes from Our All Star Chefs” in 2004. She has since worked on 12 more cookbooks.
Jill started at Food Network as an intern in 1998 and has spent the last 15 years contributing to Food Network’s rise as a premier cable network. She earned a BA in nonfiction writing from the University of Pittsburgh and an AS in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from Scottsdale Culinary Institute. Jill resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two children.
