Joann Gonzalez is a Sr. Director of Human Resources for Comcast’s Customer Care Operations in Atlanta, Charleston and Augusta. In this role, she is responsible for partnering with leadership on key initiatives, change management, leadership development, implementation of people strategies and programs and employee relations. Joann supports four call centers with over 1,000 employees.
Joann has over 15 years of human resources and leadership experience. She joined Comcast in 2006 as Director, Human Resources in Portland, Oregon. Previously, Joann held the position of Manager, Human Resources for Time Warner Cable. Prior to joining the cable industry, Joann held various human resources and management positions in the telecommunications, forest products and insurance industries.
Joann holds a Masters of Business Administration from Union University. She also earned a Bachelors of Management Science from Kean College. Joann has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) since 2001.
