Joanne Sibony is Vice President of Program Delivery in the
Technology & Product organization of Comcast Cable. In this position, Joanne is a key leader of
the team who defined, developed and delivered the next generation video
platform “X1”. This team recently
achieved the launch of this breakthrough technology to 100% of the Comcast
footprint and with Joanne’s leadership will continue to add exciting new
features and functionality such as Cloud TV and new devices that take advantage
of the IP components of the Platform.
Prior to joining the Technology & Product team, Joanne
was the Strategic Business Lead in the ePMO responsible for leading the
cross-functional teams delivering key Video and Interactive products. In this role, Joanne focused on driving
accountability and execution of cross-functional schedules and milestones for
programs such as the All-Digital Migration, Comcast Content Delivery Network
with increased VOD offerings, Interactive Television, new On-Screen Program
Guides, and new Set-top boxes.
Joanne’s expertise in new product deployment, program and
product management and operations as well as her ability to execute and bring
cross-functional teams together is serving her well in her current role. A 24-year cable veteran, Joanne has held
progressive roles in the Market, Division and Corporate levels of Comcast,
AT&T Broadband and TCI Cable. Her
key accomplishments include launching Digital Cable, On Demand, Interactivity
for Cable, X1 Platform and Cloud TV.
Joanne holds a B.A. in Economics from Towson University and
is an active member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT). She is a 2010 graduate of the Comcast
Executive Leadership Forum and recently completed Leadership Philadelphia and
the Comcast Women in Leadership Program at Wharton. Joanne has been serving as a mentor to other
members of the industry for several years and resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with
her husband and three children.
