Jodi Scheer

Jodi Scheer is the Director of Programming and Development for Food Network and Cooking Channel, part of Scripps Networks Interactive’s leading lifestyle brands. In this position,  she oversees a diverse slate of hit programs including Cutthroat Kitchen, Camp Cutthroat, Diners, Drives Ins and Dives, Dinner at Tiffani’s, Unwrapped 2.0, Man Fire Food, Pizza Masters and Food: Fact or Fiction? Before joining Scripps, she was a Manager for Spike TV’s Sports & Specials team where she worked on live television events for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Total Impact Wrestling. Scheer also worked on The Ultimate Fighter reality series, all other UFC-related programming as well as documentaries and special series. As part of a pro-social project, she also executive produced a half-hour special that profiled inspiring teens in Camden, NJ which aired on local NBC affiliates.

 

Scheer received a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies and a Masters in Public Administration from The George Washington University. Originally from South Florida, she lives in Hoboken, NJ with her husband and son.  She is a strong team player and problem solver who has formed solid relationships with both internal departments and the networks’ production partners.
