Johanna Hammond Hoover is Vice President, Production Operations for Scripps Networks Interactive including the beloved brands HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, DIY Network, Cooking Channel and Great American Country.
She leads the in-house production team which is responsible for supporting the content needs of all SNI brands and business partners including HGTV Dream Home, White House Christmas and Rose Parade. She is also responsible for identifying new opportunities for cross-functional initiatives and content development.
Hoover began her career at Scripps Networks Interactive in 1998 as a Production Assistant. Choosing to build her career with the production department, she has been promoted five times which includes her 2014 promotion to Vice President of Production Operations.
Hoover was selected for the WICT Rising Leader program in 2010. She has had an ongoing involvement with the annual WICT SE Speed Mentoring event. She was named WICT Southeast Volunteer of the Year for Tennessee in 2013. She is passionate about mentoring and community involvement, taking an active role in the Greater Knoxville Area United Way as well as several WICT and Scripps mentoring programs.
Prior to working at Scripps, Hoover had a successful career in retail management and media broadcasting.
Hoover lives in Knoxville, TN with her husband, John, and two awesome Jack Russell Terriers.
