Johanna Hammond Hoover is the Director of Scheduling and Production Management for Scripps Productions, the in-house production department for Scripps Networks.
Her current responsibilities include managing a highly skilled team of production managers that oversee the management of projects such as HGTV Dream Home, White House Christmas, and Rose Parade along with branded interstitial pieces and custom programming. Johanna’s responsibilities also include overseeing and supporting the talented Scripps Productions scheduling team which successfully schedules all internal post production environments for Scripps and facilitates internal billing for staff resources. Teaming with the Manager of Production Administration, she continually looks for ways to expand Scripps Productions services to further support internal clients. She is the liaison between the production team and the finance, corporate risk management, legal and business affairs departments of Scripps Networks.
Johanna has been with Scripps Productions for 12 years and previously served as Manager, Production Administration where she was responsible for managing a hardworking team of production coordinators. She began her career at Scripps as a production assistant. Prior to working at Scripps, Johanna had a successful career in retail management as well as media broadcasting. She lives in Knoxville with her husband, John, and two Jack Russell Terriers, Puddy and Mollie. She enjoys spending time with her family.
