Julie Penhallegon

​Julie is Manager of Corporate Outreach at A+E Networks. In this role, her primary responsibilities include acting as project manager for corporate social responsibility films and projects, managing content for educational partnerships and organizing internal events for corporate social responsibility initiatives. Julie also writes and edits educational newsletters, education guides, and A+E Network’s bi-annual Idea Book for Educators.

 

Julie graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Communications and began her career at National Geographic Channel in Washington, DC. She started as a Programming Assistant, then moved on to be a Coordinator and Senior Coordinator for the Development Team. She also learned about the licensing side of the business as a Marketing Manager for International Home Entertainment at National Geographic. After her time at National Geographic, Julie refined her project management skills in an Operations Lead role at Google Express in DC.

 

Since moving to Manhattan in 2016, Julie has enjoyed exploring her new city and all of the delicious food it has to offer.
