Julie Sparlin is a Senior Manager of Information Technology at Suddenlink Communications in St. Louis. In her current role, she leads a technical team managing human resource applications which administer transactions for over 6400 employees and 1600 consultants. Julie’s team is responsible for providing technical solutions for the business initiatives and provides collaboration between IT and the consumers of the applications. Julie actively seeks opportunities to re-engineer stale procedures and streamline processes internal to the team and for the business owners through software solutions.
Prior to Suddenlink, Julie spent a majority of her career at Correctional Medical Services, a healthcare provider in correctional facilities. While starting in Accounting, opportunities in IT lead Julie to be a part of an applications team which managed clinical systems and PeopleSoft Financials and HR applications.
Julie has been an active member of WICT Midwest Chapter. Since 2012, Julie is serving in the IT/Database/Webmaster board position. She is a 2012 graduate of the Rising Leaders Program.
Julie received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Accounting at University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Outside of work, Julie is very involved in the cub scouts with being a leader in her youngest son’s den. She enjoys traveling, playing tennis, golf and other outdoor activities with her husband and two wonderful sons.
