Karen Baker is currently the Division Vice President of
Compensation for the Northeast Division of Comcast. In her current role she
supports all aspects of compensation for the divisions 22,000 employees. From
2011 to 2013, Karen led the Compensation CoE for Comcast in Philadelphia where
she was instrumental in developing company-wide compensation programs. She also
developed the compensation infrastructure that supports the Human Resources
organization across Comcast. Karen’s career at Comcast began in 2008, as the
Division Vice President of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS for the
NorthCentral Division.
Prior to Comcast Karen has held Compensation and Benefits
leadership roles in several fortune 500 companies in the retail, healthcare,
real estate and environmental sectors. She has a BA in Marketing and is a
Certified Compensation Professional.
Outside of her professional career Karen enjoys art, travel, and
cooking and the whims of her partner, Karole, and her two children, Isabella
and Zander. In her spare time she travels to see great art and eat great food
(sometimes she brings the kids)!
