Karen McCague is Vice President of Workforce Delivery Services with the Scripps Networks Interactive IT department. Karen leads a team of professionals dedicated to driving SNI workforce productivity and engagement through business aligned technology solutions and innovation. She brings more than 15 years of experience to the role serving in positions to liaise IT with the businesses organizations it serves to successfully enable business outcomes. Karen has been with SNI and the cable industry for 10 years.
Prior to joining SNI, Karen was SVP, Operations for Pangaea Services, an entrepreneurial start-up venture aimed to bring distributed project teams together through collaboration technology. This leveraged her years of experience with collaboration systems, project management, knowledge sharing and information management gained during 13 years in the engineering, construction and environmental management industries.
In her early professional career, Karen worked as an environmental chemist and lead environmental scientist dedicated to the cleanup of hazardous waste sites.
Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in geology and went on to the Master’s Program at University of Georgia in the field of Geochemistry. She is also a graduate of the WICT Rising Leaders and Executive Development Programs.
