Katherine Liu is responsible for creating a common strategic and operating vision across a business that spans 200-plus countries and more than 10 unique media brands. In addition to setting strategic direction for the company, Katherine’s role includes operation and performance management in regional markets, leading cross-cultural efforts to build new global brands and products, and developing financial and strategic goals and operating plans for the overall organization, as well as oversight of Content Operations, International Media & Technology Services, Consumer Insights, and M&A.
Prior to ViacomCBS, Katherine worked in Hong Kong for the Business Development Group of STAR Television, in the Corporate Development department at News Corporation and in the Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Department at Merrill Lynch & Co.
Katherine holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors Degree from Georgetown University, and lives with her husband and two daughters outside of New York City.
