Kathy Gray

Kathy Gray is Director of Production Operations for Turner Studios, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.). Turner Studios is the production and post production facility supporting Turner’s domestic and global networks, which include TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, TNT Latin America, CTN Latin America, and truTV. 

Gray oversees the strategic and daily management of the Production Operations group, who execute a wide range of long-form and short-form projects to include live-action shoots, visual effects, and post-production.  She is heavily involved in the overall business initiatives for Turner Studios.

Gray joined TBS, Inc. in 1996, where she managed the post-production facility at CNN.  In 1998, Gray joined Turner Studios team, serving in a variety of roles from Senior Project Producer, managing a wide range of television production projects from concept through delivery, to Executive Producer where she was responsible for leading creative teams on a variety of projects ranging from promotions, to animated television series productions.

A long-time member of Women in Cable Television (WICT), Gray served on the WICT Southeast Board of Directors as Director of Red Letter Awards in 2008 and 2009, Director of Programming in 2010 and as Vice President in 2012.  She currently holds the position of Chapter President for 2013. In 2010, Gray was honored as a Rising Star/Emerging Leader at the WICT Southeast Chapter’s Red Letter Awards. Gray serves on the Turner Volunteer Advisory Board and has led many community fundraisers for Noah’s Ark (www.noahs-ark.org) and A New Leash on Life (www.newleashonlifega.org).
